Abhijnaa Arts Foundation

Abhijnaa Arts Foundation(® 2008) is an organization headed by Smt. Prathibha Ramaswamy training students in the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam. Extensively trained by Prof. M.R. Krishnamurthy, Sri Sheejith Krishna for 3 decades and having been a senior teaching staff at Kalakshithi for many years, she branched out nurturing her dream of starting her own Dance academy.

 

Equipped with years of performing and teaching experience, her students are being 

recognized and doing well at various events and examinations. They have received recognition and have been awarded both CCRT and Sangeeta Nrutya Academy scholarships.

Students of Abhijnaa have had the opportunity to perform at several venues. Some of the notable ones are

- Nada Neerajanam festival conducted by the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam

- Hosur Natyanjali festival

​

- Kadambari festival

​

- Sanchari festival

​

- Swatantrotsava conducted by the Dept of Kannada and Culture

​

- Udayaraaga – the morning festival at Cubbon Park organised by the Dept of Horticulture, Govt of Karnataka

​

- Several temple festivals in Karnataka.

- Chinnara Kalaa Sampoorna Dance Festival

​

- Kadalu Utsava organised by Vid Rajashree Holla.
